Conference Announcement（Round Ⅱ）

　　International Symposium on Classical Swine Fever and Other Important Swine Infectious Diseases

　　Wuhan, China, 27-30 November 2023

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

　　In order to promote the exchange and cooperation on technologies for the prevention and control of global classical swine fever (CSF) and other important swine diseases, as well as to strengthen the progress of global CSF elimination and eradication, China Institute of Veterinary Drug Control and Huazhong Agricultural University will host International Symposium on Classical Swine Fever and Other Important Swine Infectious Diseases（ISCSF&OISID）on 27-30 November 2023 in Wuhan, China. Prominent academicians, experts and scholars in this field from National/WOAH reference laboratory, research institutes for CSF/ African swine fever (ASF) around the world are invited as keynote speakers to give presentations on the hotspots, challenges and latest progresses regarding important swine infectious diseases, including epidemiology statuses of CSF in China and abroad, novel diagnostic technologies and vaccine developments, mechanisms of CSF immunity and pathogenesis, as well as clinical practical advice on CSF prevention and control. In addition, recent outbreaks of ASF and other swine infectious diseases in China have posed a huge threat to the pig industry. The sections related to prevention and control technologies and strategies of ASF and other important swine infectious diseases will also be included in this symposium. More detailed information regarding ISCSF&OISID can be found in the following sections.

　　8. Call for Papers

　　In order to promote extensive and in-depth academic exchanges, the conference intends to compile a proceeding of the papers, and invites relevant institutions and inpiduals to actively contribute papers on the research of CSF, ASF, pseudorabies and other research from the past two years (original unpublished research is encouraged). The selected articles will be notified via e-mail for wall poster presentation. Please refer to Appendix 2 for the submission guideline.
